Terah is assumed to be the father of Abraham, the strongest Patriarch in Judaism, Christianity and Islam.
Terah was the “Idol-manufacturer”. Miteiya compares Terah with Terahpanthi branch of Jainism and suggests that
“Saguna Worship” could be the first step towards “Nirguna Worship”. In the book, Miteiya connects the festival
of Holi in Hindus with Terah’s attempt to burn Abraham.
Terah is an interesting character defining “Idol Worshipping” practiced before the arrival of Abraham.
